Our mission at 2020 Firearms Safety is to provide quality courses and a friendly learning environment. You will receive plenty of opportunities to handle deactivated firearms and ammunition to help build your skill level and confidence in handling them safely. Once you have completed your course you will have everything you need to apply for your license.

CANADIAN NON RESTRICTED FIREARMS COURSE

This is for your typical hunting rifle and shotgun. It is the first of two available courses and involves 8 hours of instructions with plenty of opportunities to handle deactivated firearms and ammunition. It concludes with a 50 question written test and a hands on practical test to ensure you can handle, transport and store firearms safely.

PAL: $135

RPAL: $115

PRIVATE CLASSES

2 students min

PAL $200 ea. 

RPAL $175 ea.

Youth 12-17 can take the PAL course and obtain a Minors PAL.

 

The course is good for life and does not expire. The only reason to have to retake the course is if you haven't yet applied for your PAL and you lost your Course Report.

Any cancellation made within 7 days of the course will result in a reschedule of course without a refund.

There is an additional fee of $60-85 that is payable to the RCMP that must be included with your application after you complete the course.

CANADIAN RESTRICTED FIREARMS LICENCE

This is for your hand guns and restricted rifles such as carbines. You must be 18 yrs old and have completed the Non Restricted course. It is 4-6 hours of instructions with plenty of opportunities to handle deactivated firearms and ammunition. It concludes with a 50 question written test and a hands on practical test to ensure you can handle, transport and store firearms safely.
